Our Mission & Impact
Rescue & Rehabilitate: Our team includes an experienced rescuer who independently rescued 48 street dogs prior to Voice for Paws. Since our founding, we have rescued 4 dogs and funded critical treatments, including broken leg repairs, amputation, and blood transfusions.
Mass Vaccination: We have vaccinated 52 dogs in Halisahar and 18 cats and 25 dogs in Chuchura. Our goal is to expand vaccination drives across West Bengal to prevent the spread of disease.
Spay & Neuter: By April 2026, we plan to neuter 20 dogs in the Hooghly area. By the end of 2026, we aim to expand neutering across parts of North 24 Parganas, including Kolkata, and the rest of Hooghly district.
Feeding Program: We currently feed 48 dogs in Howrah and plan to begin a feeding program in and around Digha by mid-2026.
Adoption: Our team includes an experienced adopter who has single-handedly given loving homes to 62 pedigree and Indie dogs. As part of Voice for Paws, we have helped 10 dogs find loving homes, and we plan to extend this effort further..
Advocate for Animal Rights: Campaign for stronger laws and regulations protecting animal welfare.
Our Long Term Vision
From city lanes to rural corners, we envision a stray-safe West Bengal.
Through life-saving medical care, vaccination, and neutering—one paw at a time—we aim to build a future where no animal suffers alone.
We aspire to establish West Bengal’s first dedicated cat hospital,
providing free neutering and life-saving medical treatment for cats in need.
Through strong collaborations, we aim to expand a specialized dog care facility,
equipped to handle critical cases, including emergency surgeries and blood transfusions.
Alongside medical care, we seek to promote responsible adoption and community awareness,
ensuring rescued animals find safe, loving homes and long-term protection.
